Escape To The Mountains For a Couples Culinary Weekend At The Exclusive Trapper’s Cabin In Beaver Creek, CO

Bond with Fellow Foodies over Gourmet Meals and Lessons in Preparation

Beaver Creek, CO – February 8, 2006 – The exclusive Trapper’s Cabin in Beaver Creek, CO, is introducing a delectable culinary opportunity for couples who want to experience interactive cooking classes with fellow food lovers at a luxurious mountain retreat.

Culinary weekends at Trapper’s Cabin are being offered March 31 - April 2, 2006 and April 7 - 9, 2006. Rates are $899 per couple, which includes two-night accommodations, dinner upon arrival on Friday night, and a special interactive dinner cooking instruction with wine pairing on Saturday evening. Daily breakfast is also provided, as well as a light lunch at the cabin on Saturday.  Each culinary weekend at Trapper’s Cabin can accommodate up to four couples.

This offer represents a savings of over 50 percent. Package is based on double occupancy and subject to availability. Tax not included.

Classes are led by Trapper’s Cabin Executive Chef Michael Wilganowski. Chef Wilganowski was raised in Houston, Texas with his first generation Polish farming family, and spent his childhood helping his grandmother cook and create sausage from scratch.  At Trapper’s Cabin, he amazes guests with culinary creations such as Pan Seared Sea Scallop, Bacon Sage Potatoes, Broccollini in a Saffron Corn Cream Sauce or Cinnamon Pheasant, Peach Compote, and Acorn Squash Puree in a Red Chile Pecan Sauce.

Trapper’s Cabin is an exclusive elegant retreat situated at 9,500 feet on top of Beaver Creek Mountain with sweeping views of the Gore Mountain Range to the east and McCoy Park to the south. Guests are completely pampered from the moment they arrive with the help of the cabin’s personal chef, cabin keeper, and Roustabout who cater to their every whim. The four bedroom/four bathroom private cabin hideaway can accommodate up to 10 people and features an outdoor Jacuzzi, river rock fireplace, and a game room complete with miniature pool table, puzzles and board games. Trapper’s Cabin’s prime location epitomizes the ski-in/ski-out experience, and snowshoes and cross-country ski equipment are available for guest use.

Beaver Creek’s other luxury accommodations include resorts such as the Inn at Beaver Creek and The Pines Lodge, a RockResort, as well as condominiums including Bachelor Gulch Village, SaddleRidge at Beaver Creek, St James Place and Market Square at Beaver Creek.
