The Pines Lodge, A RockResort, Revamps and Revitalizes It’s Rocky Mountain Decor

Beaver Creek, CO – July 13, 2006 – The Pines Lodge, a RockResort in Beaver Creek, Colorado, announces the completion of renovations to ensure an even more luxurious, welcoming experience for guests. Several areas of the Lodge have been remodeled and revitalized to reflect the surrounding Rocky Mountain setting.

The Lodge’s pool area has been resurfaced with a new design of the deck that features stamped concrete to resemble stone.  The hot tub was relocated to the outdoors and includes a cooling deck as well as two waterfalls with moss rock that create a rock grotto effect. New lighting, stucco, pilasters, and columns refinished in rock clad capture the Lodge’s mountain location vibe. Overlooking the pool area, the hotel’s fitness center offers a section with lush greenery, creating an atrium effect.  New landscaping surrounding the pool offers a “secret garden” feel with a signature Lodgepole Pine surrounded by Aspen and Spruce, as well as colorful perennials.  The garden features stone pavers leading to a teak bench where guests can sit and relax. Additionally, Ted Schneider, Executive Chef at the hotel’s award-winning Grouse Mountain Grill is planting an organic herb garden at the garden entrance for use in the restaurant.
